LiveWire Productions is a non profit production company located in Metrowest, Massachusetts
which premiered its debut season in the summer of 2005. LiveWire Productions aims to provide high quality performances,
in which company members can participate fully (both onstage and backstage). There are opportunities for performers,
technicians, board members, and a variety of other jobs - each performer can choose their own level of involvement in behind-the-scenes
work. We believe this "team effort" approach results in a stronger bond of those involved, as well as a further sense
of pride in the production. While we do have the traditional positions of director, choreographer, stage designer (etc),
those people are also part of the onstage production. If you are a performer who wants to still perform, while also
trying something new (like costume design, makeup, staging, publicity, technical roles, etc), LiveWire Productions is your
perfect opportunity!
LiveWire Productions is specifically designed to accommodate the
performer or technician who doesn't have much free time. Created by performers who have often run into this problem, the
company wants to give the opportunity of performing to everyone whose interested and is willing to work hard and have
a great time. We do have certain rehearsal dates that are required (usually surrounding show time), but we will
accommodate your schedule if you are interested and willing to put in the work to learn music and lyrics on your own time.
Above all else, LiveWire Productions is a fantastic company that aims
to involve all those interested in every available facet of putting on a great show.
